Dan, I for one am greatly thankful for what you have provided us all, in the
Quattro list, over the years, though other lists and forums have popped up, I
have remained on the Q-list becuase of the _people_ AND the _older car
topics_.

I don' have a newer car, frankly I don't want one, and I don't plan on owning
a newer Audi for a long time - I'd rather trade new car smell for new, custom
turbo EFI smell.

As far as the people, I'd like to point out that what puts a bad taste in all
our mouths is usually instigated by 1 or 2 people, if you've noticed,
legitimate Audi related discussions have been continuing all day long...I
actually only caught on to the latest fiasco recently, I have grown accustom
to just deleting most posts between Phil and Scott, I'd argue that there is a
big portion of the list that probably doesn't even know about it. It would
be a great shame to end the Q-list, I'd rather both Phil and Scott left (for
what they're worth) than see the list end. I have a feeling Phil will be
back, anyway...

I can fly into any major airport in the country (maybe even the world) and
meet with Q-list members, Dan S. name is know all over the world for starting
the Q-list, the Q-list archives hold an immense wealth of information - I
can't imagine any Ego fight between Scott and Phil ending all that. I hope
you see it that way too.

Though I've had my share of crabby outbursts, I'd like to commit to being
positive and constructive on this list, I challenge us all to do the same.

Best Regards,

Javad
