Hi Audi Fans,

Thanks to all the helpful replies on my post.
I checked the MPG "the old-fashioned way" and getting 17.7 mpg (city).
Computer reading is wacko.
I rounded up bosch plugs, wires, rotor, Dist. cap, and air cleaner this
week.  Well my finger nails got dirty today; but the 100q is running
MUCH better :)

BTW. Changing the air cleaner was a b****. I could not get the large air
intake hose off the plastic air cleaner shroud. The large bolt/nut which
holds the clamp on was impossible.

165k mileage.  Getting ~14 mpg according to computer.

What should be checked ?
Weak pick-up/power in 1st gear ?
