BTDT. Very shocking when that happens, and much more
expensive when you talk to the NEXT insurance company.

The same thing is happening to me as we speak, and for
the same reasons. I've got 20-30 rock stars and 3
smallish running cracks in the Arva/Pilkington that
was in the car when I got it. (4 yrs.?+) It WAS
already pretty severely sandblasted when I got it.
I'm SURE I'll be changing it before next inspection
due in May.

Army? I believe he's right. Managed NOT to maximize
profits by f*cking members. If you are Army or
ex-Army you should investigate this company. Cheap
premiums and great service. No I'm NOT an investor or
profiting in any way. Just a VERY satisfied customer.
Bottom line. Be careful if you're constantly
submitting claims. It might SEEM like free money, but
if you do become non-renewable the new company you get
will almost certainly be much more expensive with a
higher deductible. YMMV.
MAC-I KNOW I'll need a new windsheild VERY soon and am
reading ALL posts re. durability and crack resistance
in particular. Please post or send me privately your
experiences.
Thanks
