type 44 syndrome, but no Audi content

I find it's just the opposite at my dealer. The service guys and techs grin from ear to ear when my CGT rolls in. It gets them back to being real techs rather than people who just plug in a VAG-COM and fix fault codes...

Mike,
As a fellow type 44 owner, I strongly disagree. The type 44s, especially
in turbo
quattro form, were, when new, some of the nicest sports sedans out
there, with all-
weather capability to boot. Especially in 5k form (pre-89 facelift), the
road feel
and driving dynamics are quite nice for a big car.

The Daewoo on the other hand, has nothing going for it other than the
fact that it
is an inexpensive, fairly nice, very bland car.

Even the C4 chassis cars are getting to the point where Audi no longer
wants to
see/hear about them. The new Audi owners are surprised to find out that
the older
cars had 5 cylinder engines.
