I use www.car-part.com its a junk yard search engine and works great, just used it to locate a tranny for my VW

Naaa I dont think this was it. The engine I remember using would let you
specify a part, say a taillight from a V8, then it would give you a list of
various junkyards around the country that had it, their phone# and price on
the part.
