Aluminum is a commonly accepted fuel line material (I didn't just think of using it for that application the other night), assuming its not bouncing around the floor pan and is supported with rubber lined clamps, there won't be any problems with it rupturing.

Of course, flexible line should be used between any hard line and a moving object its attached to, if the situation arises (like between the firewall and the fuel rail, etc).
