Hi Ron,
It's a shaft with a flat on one side. There's a pinch
bolt throught the base of the lever. 10mm, I believe.
Loosen that bolt up and the lever will slip off. It
can only be reinstalled correctly one way. The
plastic insert will be easy to replace on the bench.
