Actually, I hadn't thought much about a stereo upgrade yet. Moving the
battery redistrutes a good, tiddy weight rearward and downward. It also
clears the way to move the air intake to the other side of the block.
The distributor intrudes on a clear path on that side, but no worse
than the left front location for modifying the filtering and intake both
before and after the fuel distribution mousetrape.
Before attending to the media situation, I'm about to begin a refurb of
all four corners of the vehicle. I'm putting on Eibach springs and
Bilsteain shocks. New rotors and calipers are going on the front and I
may indulge in stainless lines all around. Once the turning and stopping
bits are sorted out, I'm going inexpensive and will try rooting out some
'89 100 series rims. Add some sensible rubber and then on engine
breathing and sorting out the door locks, handles and windows.
