Finally bought an S4!

Hi Sue,

I bought my 94 S4 last August and I really am happy with it.  I owned a
1986 4000 CS Quattro before (still for sale, although I still love driving
it and don't really want to sell it, but I should). This list and the S4
list (on Yahoo) have been very helpful in sorting out things about my car.
Tomorrow I am replacing my O2 sensor since my gas mileage has recently
dropped.  Without the lists, I'd be at the mercy of a mechanic wanting to
replace the sensor with a $130+ sensor vs the $40 generic sensor I can buy
from a local Auto Zone store!

I love working on my car, especially if it saves me $ and increases my
driving pleasure.

My S4 is green/ecru.  I flew from northern CA to Salt Lake City to pick it
up.  Crossed the Nevada desert coming back home at 130 mph...
yeeeeeeHaaaa!  I need to disconnect the speed limiter, although I have
never driven it that fast in California yet.  Another thing I have done is
to pull the "Servotronic" steering relay to get rid of the Buick type
steering at slower speeds.  It's east to do, and you may like the steering
feel better.

Congratulations on your purchase... you did the right thing!  Let me know
