I HIGHLY recommend the Kumho High Performance- ECSTA 716 HP4. I'd also recommend going with a 205/60/15. My Passat came with 195/65/15 Conti CH95 tires, which have lasted over 77,000 miles, which tells you something about how un-sporty they are. Anyway, when I got my coupe, the tires were shot from bad struts/shock, so I got a set of the new-at-the-time High Performance- ECSTA 716 HP4 in 185/60/14. Well, I LOVE them. The definitely will be the next set of shoes for my Passat, assuming the rock hard Contis ever wear out before I sell her. Check out some info on the Kumhos here: http://www.kumhousa.com/pages/pcr/716specs.htm

Any comments on tire choice for our 95 A6QA? Currently running Goodyear
Eagle GT2 P195/65 R15. The 20v 90Q runs Dunlops, which I like. Can't
really complain at the 45K we've gotten on these, but I'd like some input
regarding choices. BTW, we don't even have weather here on the CA central
coast, and Lyn uses this car for her commute on the freeway, so a good
general purpose tire will do fine. TIA, John
