Wow, that takes me back! I learned to drive in a '74 Dasher Wagon,
my mother's. Two more of these then graced our garage, until I
had enough money to buy my own car, an '80 Rabbit Diesel.

The good thing about the D Wagon (gee, can I call it an Avant?) was
that I could through a set of good bookshelf speakers in the back
and have an awesome stereo.
