Uhm...where do these go?

Hi Gerard,

The one on the left was the same one I asked about just last
week. That one is the heat shield for the right side engine
mount. It's difficult to describe with words, but I'll try.

The left shield: I think you are supposed to be able to see
that one, through the hole in the right side wheel well.
Imagine taking it and rotating it more than 90 degrees
counter-clockwise from that picture.

The hole in the tab that is located at the top right in the
pic, should go to the rear and be mounted over a stud sticking
out of the side of the engine compartment. The small hole at
the opposite (bottom right) end, overlaps the front motor
mount heat shield, and is held in place by a small hex head
machine screw.

The top left in the pic should be verticle pointing up. The
left bottom in the pic should be directly forward, and the pic
view is from the inside of the engine compartment, looking
back/left. (you would see the same angle of the heat shield
from under the hood, if all the other parts were invisible)

As for the right shield: It doesn't ring a bell. Perhaps
it's for the catalytic convertor area? Sorry for no help
here.

Good luck!

Later,

Ken
