Fw: How much snow will a quattro plow?

My driveway is 50' long, and probably a 25% grade (50%=45 deg.). My V8Q has
NEVER had a problem, except going over the 16" birm of rock hard ice left by
the snowplow, the winter where the bellypan was left off.

The car scaled the birm, but ruptured an oil line, and caught fire. No
problem Insurance rebuilt engine compartment. $3,500.

This winter my neighbor, who has less than half the incline of my driveway,
was attempting to pull in with his brand new Passat with traction control.
He couldn't. I took out the beast, drove over to offer my help, but he
didn't want me "touching his bumper" (whimper, whine). After he toyed for
half an hour, and finally got in, I cruised right up next to him in the
other lane.

After gloating, I pulled back out (there must have been 12" - 15" on the
ground), whirled around, and drove right up into my own very steep driveway.

Another example, in my steep driveway:
My wife has only had the A6QA this winter. The previous winters have been
with a MB 300E, WITHOUT traction control OR winter tires. I frequently came
home to find her stuck at the bottom of our driveway. I would collect her
from the house, have her place the MB in neutral, and push her in with the
V8Q. No worries, Mate!

Also, this winter with the new-to-her A6QA, she was running on bald (I mean
BALD!!!) summer tires. Never a problem scaling the driveway!

I don't think you need to worry about much in your Quattro, when it comes to
getting through! - Unless of course you're missing the bellypan!
