My mother was with a friend at the Burlington mall, and walking
through the lot they saw a guy cleaning out his car, enjoying the
sun...probably on lunch break.

"Your door is ajar. Your door is ajar. Your door is ajar. Your door is ajar."

etc. etc.

As they were nearing the entrance to the mall, they heard:

"I KNOW THE GODDAM #$%@ DOOR IS OPEN YOU STUPID #$@%*^% PIECE OF #@$!"

followed by a "WHUMP", some very loud howling and even more profanity.

A couple weeks later, they saw him working in a store, hobbling
around with an ankle brace/cast.

Never try to beat up technology.  It feels no pain and is generally
much more durable than you are :-)
