Windshield scratches (removal)

Hi Rob. I tried tin oxide (the final polishing compound when tumbling
gem stones). You can pick it up at any lapidary outlet. Mix it with
some water into a paste and go at it with a buffer. I spent about two
hours on the windshield and it did seem to take the edges off the pits
a bit so the glare wasn't as bad. Windshield was super clean tho'.
Someone else mentioned another commmon compound way back, but I don't
know if it's in the archives or if it was just sent to me. Just keep
in mind that the stones usually get a tumbling treatment in this goo
for 24 to 48 hours so it's not going to be blemish free.

Best regards,
Geo
