Yes, they did. But I'm sure many of these changes could have occurred
on a "running" basis, so watch out, don't make too many assumptions.

Really, although there are a huge number of "improvements" between 83
and 86, almost all of them can be swapped.
That said, an '83 would be a poor "parts car" for an '86, due to all
those changes - but an '86 would be a cool parts car for an '83.
The interiors are largely the same, except the dash and some of its
trim.
