Joe,
You need to pull the Instrument cluster. Then it should be a
straightforward matter of undoing the tiny screw which holds in the switch
and can only be accessed (by normal humans) from above. Of course, that
little bast**d screw tends to want to ream out even with quality
screwdriver, so use care.

Note - this is not the same hard start problem I was/am having on the pearl
avant after rebuild + upgrades etc. That I have mostly narrowed down to
fuel pressure (Warmup regulator) and probably a bleedown in one of the
injectors, despite they were recently replaced.
I have it running fairly well, starting quicker, but not perfect - yet.
