Yep. For the 10 and 10v filter, the cap is the right size, but it doesn't
fit. Doh.
I also bought one for my wife's 2.8 V6, but I can't remember whether it
fits.
As Brett suggested, I tighten by hand and can typically loosen by hand too.
It helps to have a large rubber cup (specifically designed to spin off
filters) to give you some grip on the filter and to catch the oil that
otherwise pours down your arm and up your sleeve.
