85 4kq clutch issues?

Howdy,

So I just finished the front suspension (H&R + koni yellows), finally
got rid of the clunk that has been bothering me (sway bar end bushing)
and now the car starts making a new (and I am afraid expensive) sound.
It's sort of a high pitched grinding/screching sound that varies with
engine speed.  It also changes when I move the clutch in and out.  The
cluch itself seems to work fine, it's not slipping or anything.  Do
these symptoms sound familiar to anyone?  I'm guessing it's related to
the clutch because of the modulation to the sound caused by the cluch
pedal.  Am I on the right track?
