Problems with misfire during acceleration. Caused by air in the diesel fuelsyst?

The first thing that I would do is to check to see if the ECU has
recorded a fault event.  That requires, however, a VAG-1552 scan tool
or VAG-COM.  If a fault is stored then it should be apparent from
that what the problem is.
