85 4kq clutch issues?

my car , when I bought it was making that noise and doin the same things as you describe. I made it from sanfransico to portland before the clutch finnaly gave way. lucky I had a buddy following me so we could go get the truck and trailer. just to let you know , the pedal will start to get stiffer and stiffer untill you can no longer put it into gear. good luck on the clutch , I did mine on my own and it was tricky but not impossible.
