Problems with misfire during acceleration. Caused by air in the diesel fuelsyst?

Start looking for a connection in the fuel line that is corroded and not
sealing 100%, thereby letting the system suck in air.  Look at the fuel
pump also to see if the diaphragm is bad and forcing a pumping of air
instead of fuel only.
