Had an interesting convo about my '87 5kcstq w/Rod @ thepartsconnection.com
(great guy & co.). I was returning my VDO ISV b/c my idle problem didn't
seem to be the old ISV (dirty ISV +bad ground) plus it just didn't fit.
Current/old one is a Bosch unit.

When I tried the swap, the VDO's body was longer, and the elec. connector
was too big for the plug to fit. Hmm...

Called Rod, and he was thinking that maybe some mechanic put the "wrong" ISV
on there for some reason (all he had in stock maybe).

Anyway, except for my continuing cold idle saga, car runs fine and idles
fine (when warm).  Any clarification on proper ISVs?  My confusion
continues!!! [picture daffy duck bouncing around...]
