brake warning light on 85 5000S

Which idiot light?  The one in the auto-check system (with the pictogram
symbol, and is usually accompanied by beeping tones) or the one in the
matrix of warning lights? If the former, it can be triggered by either
low brake fluid level or low hydraulic fluid level.  If the latter, the
parking brake is not fully disengaged.  The auto-check also has separate
symbols for brake pad wear warning and brake light bulb outage.

Use only the correct fluids.
