the only differences that I've found between 01's and 02's are :
1. no "automatic mode" for suspension on the '02
2. 6-disc changer in dash on '02, vs single disc in '01
3. leather shift knob on automatics in '02, vs nice wood one in '01
4, '02 prewired for trailer hitch, '01 not, so audi hitch for '01 is more $$
to buy and have installed, because there's about 1 hour's more work involved.

i can't think of anything else at the moment.
