Headlight resilvering

I was talking about this before- if I could have lexan lenses
fabricated,
I'd think about installing the Hella 90mm headlamp system or using BMW
E39
units in the euro housings, but that's a very expensive project.
However,
the end result would be HID Xenon lowbeams with Hella CELIS "eyes."

Tom,

To answer your question, the eurolites have lenses that are very
replaceable. There is a foam gasket, not a silicone seal, and the
lenses are retained by metal clips. I believe you are even supposed to
be able to get the individual reflectors that fit inside the housing.
Or, at least they can come out separately. The way the lights are put
together is actually kind of neat imo. If the lenses were
flatter/clearer, I'd be more curious about fitting some projector beams
and such inside.
