R12 Conversion

I am on week 4 of my Freeze 12 conversion : ) Ice cold A/C in 95 degree
temps. My system was in excellent condition except for the condenser which I
got used from Chris Semple at an unbeatable price. I changed the evaporator,
pulled a deep vacuum with a refrigerant recovery pump drove the car around
to raise the under hood temps to enhance the boiling off of moisture. Then
tried to pull a deeper vacuum (sore arms at this point) and charged it with
26 oz of Freeze 12 and 2 oz of oil.
It takes about five minutes to get cool on a hot day and is chilly once you
get over 40mph.
