Heather,

Congrats on your new purchase. Although it seems albit early,
the noise could be a rear subframe bushing if you are lucky,
if not, it could be the lower control arm bushing issue that
occasionally crops up in A4's. As I am a type 44 (5000/200)
owner, I am not totally familiar with the issue, but it has been
in the archives at Audifans.com.  Hope that helps.
