ooooh, I like it!

I think that one piece of tubular steel running from the from door jamb
to the rear door jamb would make nice "sill" and stiffen everything up
well.

Nice idea, you've got to at least try...

The only issue, besides flexing, that seems like it might be a problem
to me, is "supporting" the windsheild?
