I would recommend trying to do it right.
get some new struts for all around, w/new bearings. Get new rear
springs, or lowering ones for all around.
replace *all* of the rubber stuff I listed, except maybe sturdy good
mounts that are definitely ok. Do it all. Spend the money. Do it all,
at the same time.
maybe reboot any CV's that look tired, obviously swap any that are bad.
then align it.
And prepare to be amazed at just how great a ride an Audi 4000 Quattro
is.
