4k Brake light Stays on...

I thought I'd ask the collective,

    A qualifier, I haven't researched the archieves yet and was hoping to be
pointed in the direction for this.  I don't have a Bentley and flying blind.  Is
there any combination of words to find prior emails regarding this problem?

    My 84 4ksq wants to keep the brake light on when the car is parked and off.
I noticed it in the morning when leaving for work.  Since I was running late, I
just unplugged the cluster so my battery wouldn't be dead when I get home.
    Is there some switch at the pedal that has fused it self on or has something
in the fues panel done something wonderful.  I'll check Huw's website today.  I
did try pushing the brake pedal (like that did anything) and replaced the bulb.
That's about the extent of my electrical capabilities and I am very tool
challenged when it comes to electrical issues.  Or I probably wouldn't be
asking.

Any and all input would be appreciated.
