My car helped me in this regard-I ended up with a bunch of boost
leaks at Watkins Glen and the car was way down on power, which was
probably a good thing, and I still had a blast. I had my rear handed
to me by a Passat 1.8t wagon that was FLYING like a bat out of
hell-seemed to be driving excellent lines AND he caught up to me on
the back straight and passed; I take the Bus Stop like a girly-girl,
and he just disappeared. No danger of red mist there, folks :-)

One of the club instructors has a practically brand new Z06. He's
got(stock) 406hp(and the badge on the side that says so :-), a
#$@!load of torque, and -instant- access to both. Nobody gives him a
run for anything :-)

I agree- and I think it is rather amusing to hear a guy who has a
turbo quantum syncro wagon worried about not doing something original
enough :-)
