Audi V8 quattro - request for opinions

Hi guys.
I'm calling all current/former owners of the V8Q model to please express
your opinion about this car.
There's a 91 V8Q 5-sp for sale that might be within my reach but I have no
expierience with these cars.  What should I look for when I go to see it?
Any known trouble areas?  What about fuel economy? Parts?   Repair manuals?
The owner says the paint is peeling off but mechanically the car is OK.
I will greatly appreciate any help.
