Trip computer into type 89

Hi all,

Went scrapyard-cruising yesterday and didn't find what I needed, so I
decided to visit a couple of 'yards where I hardly ever go. One of them had
a complete '87 Audi 90 FWD, probably with engine damage as I couldn't see
anything else wrong with it.
Anyway, this car had the trip computer. I pulled the instrument panel and
the connectors looked quite different than those in my '88 90q's dash with
just the Autocheck. I guess retrofitting the trip computer will be tough?

I snagged the interior (as-new beige Serret velour) for my neighbour's '91
80, guess I'll be going back to get the tough-to-find parts like the bumpers
and headlights... maybe I'll take the radiator and more I-5 parts also.

Does anyone know if the FWD I-5 type 89 exhaust fits the I-4? Can't seem to
find a decent used exhaust for my 80...
