Wham! anyone good with insurance valuation?

This was the case when I wrecked bikes racing them.
First one they bought.  Second one they said no dice.
Luckily, a doctor buried his front end in my crankcase
and as a good sport "bought" that bike.  Not a big
check to him I'm sure.
