Front doors not aligned

Both the driver's side and front passenger's door is slightly sprung.
When someone goes to close them with a normal amount of force, they
are not aligned to close properly.   I don't like the sound of having
to slam them to make the lock mechanism "lift" over the latch.

Is that something we can do ourselves, or do we need to take the car somewhere?
