Not sure if Audi has any recourse on this.  Besides, it only helps us owners
to buy non Audi parts correctly and more efficiently.  In the short term,
that takes a small amount of money away from Audi, but over the long term,
it helps them sell cars.

The problem with this approach is that where Lexcom now has one product, you
are asking for a multitude of products.  There is a cost to the provider
involved with each product, in terms of developing, testing, packaging and
support.  Offering a by vehicle by year product would be very daunting.  I
doubt there is really enough money in it to make it worthwhile.
