That's one thing that's always surprised me about WRX's, in stock form they
are no match on the street or track. I had about 3 or 4 good sessions at
Buttonwillow with a chipped WRX (on slicks, I'm on 712's) early this spring,
running only 8psi we were pretty well matched, recently, mixing it up with
them on the street running 15psi I havent' found too much competition as of
yet. Of course, there are some insane mods you can do to them, but that goes
with all cars.
