Tranny replacement questions -older quattro models

Thanks Ken,

So I guess I'll pull the driveshaft, except if someone comes in and says I
don't have to....
And I'll pull the tie rod mounting bracket as well in this case... the
gearbox clutch housing is the same on a coupe quattro as in a CGT so I
guess I'll be doing it anyway... oh well....
