Julian,
Did you remove the driveshaft carrier bearing as well? This driveshaft
balancing issue really upsets me because I've never dealt with such things
before and I don't want to screw up...
I was also wondering about the possibility of removing the tranny with the
front driveshafts still attached (I'm intending to remove the subframe as
well at the same time)? I will replace the front driveshafts anyway so, why
bother about 12 more bolts when I could remove them at a later date?
