separating turbo bearing housing from hot side - que pena!!

more roadblocks ahead.. so has anyone had a problem separating the turbo's
bearing housing from the hot side turbine housing? The first one I did was
not so bad, actually that's how I got it off the car. This time it feels
welded together. I had it in a vise and tried hitting it w/ a hammer, but
it won't budge and I don't wanna do any damage. Any BTDT's? danka..
