Weird A/C behavior

Thanks for coming to the party any way at all, Wallace.....anytime. It is
all starting to make some sense, especially after your 8:30am post sharing
insight into why the system switches over to center vents all by itself
after a half hour on default. That was a major revelation for me, and I
appreciate your providing it. I was attributing it to magic and evil
spirits, having no better hypothesis.
I'm still looking for more vacuum leaks, after fixing the recirculation
flap open line, and think I have isolated one or two in the vacuum servos
inside the box behind the glove compartment. At times they 'slurp' and
gurgle a little like someone drinking the last of a milkshake. Next step
is take it out, verify with MittyVac, and take corrective action.
Actually, with cooler weather and the fixed recirculation line leak, the
center vents have been performing as they should most of the time.
