typ44- '90 200TQ problems

hey all my friend who just bought the '90 200TQ just drove it from PA to
Atlanta and everything went fine except in Wash DC the a/c compressor belt
broke and when he got to atlanta he put another a/c compressor belt on  but
the a/c doesnt work anymore..  the a/c was blowing cold before the belt
broke..  he said the compressor still kicks on but the a/c wont blow cold..
any ideas?
also he is having a problem where the ABS shuts off (light on dash says "ABS
off" ) after a hard cornering..   any ideas or help would be appreciated..
