WR-engine into '86 Coupé quattro - Throttle-wire?

Last weekend we dropped in the WR-engine into the engine-bay, but
there's still some work to be done...
This is what it looks like right now:

Quite a mess, I must say...

My throttle-wire is not long enough for the WR-engine. Could I just use
an UrQ-wire instead, or won't it fit the linkage in my car?
