Low Washer Fluid on Auto Check

The low windshield washer alarm on the Auto Check of my '91 CQ is always on
although the windshield reservoir is full.

The sensor and the reservoir are glued together and the reservoir is a *HUGE*
pain to remove. (I think the hydraulic reservoir and radiator need to come off
before the reservoir comes off.)

Any thoughts on how to fix the auto check besides changing the reservoir or
unplugging the sensor?
