Hi Jim/All,
Did they mention why? The only reason I can think of is that some of the
coating may come off and get ingested by the turbo (Bad Thing). Does that
mean that they also don't recommend coating the outside. All that heat
trapped in the metal would probably cause problems similar to header wrap.
