John,
Well, the engine should not run as well with the fuse in. The fuse is
inserted to perform diagnostics.
I seems to me you are in luck - the ECU is doing its job of diagnosing some
components that are marginal or failing. Heed them, and/or let us know
what exactly you are seeing. There are several Hall related codes; which
sequence are you observing?
