Hey JJS, I too have a 95 90q. The washer pumps are a piece of cake. They are
above and in front of the left fender well liner. So...take off the left
front wheel, remove the belly-pan and about 15 screws holding the fender
liner in, and they are right there for easy access. I think it is good to
pull those liners off every couple of years for cleaning anyway.

If you are having a problem with the stalk-switches, do not be too afraid of
that steering wheel. I have had them off many times in various airbag cars.
I won't lie. I don't love it, but I have never had any problem, either. I
would not do it without the factory recommended procedure to follow,
however.

Here is what I have learned. 1) The Torx screws (Torsk as I like to call
them. If they can come up with stupid names, so can I) holding the horn
button/airbag on from behind can be very tight. Have good, correct tools on
hand for those. 2) Follow Bentley's instructions regarding the unplugging of
trigger wires. 3) Unhook the negative battery cable before beginning the
project. I neglected to once when replacing the ignition switch, and now I
have an airbag light, only resettable at the dealer. Doh! This is of course
just wise and correct practice, anyway.

Good luck and have fun.
