'87 4kq: brief shifting problem

Given the life expectancy of 4kq clutches and the fact that the car has only
174k on it, I'm not leaping to the conclusion that it's one of the above. It'll
probably be the weekend b4 I can check for the other possible causes you
mentioned.

Killing the engine does make it go away. I'm still scratching my head as to why
the problem comes and goes. When I drove home (10 miles) from work today, I had
the problem at first, and then it eased off. More data needed b4 I can say this
is a consistent pattern.

If I have to replace the hose, any reason I can't have someone local make up
something from Aeroquip or the like for longer life? Thanks.
