This is a good answer!  Only you Brett and Benjamin Kaupp had it OK.

At the opposite, in 1990 I had a 1977 Civic with the famous Hondamatic semi-auto; this slushbox had only _TWO_ forward speeds that you _HAD_TO_ change manually. Now in 2003, auto trans are all at least 4-speeders (since the Neon and the TJ dropped their 3-speeder) up to the Jaguar and BMW 6-speed wonders.

But I follow your statement Brett; it's a strange world when performance Audis are not available with a MT.

Jaguar S-type comes with a 6-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual.

Of course, their "R"(which scored the lowest in Automobile's M5 vs.
RS6 vs. E55 AMG vs S-type R roundup), is only available with an
autobox.

In fact, the M5 was the only tested vehicle available with a manual,
5 speed or otherwise.  Sad state in the automotive world, folks...
